Kamila Borkowska, presented as Valencia Basket's new player at Isaval
WOMEN'S TEAM
Center Kamila Borkowska (2.01m, Poland, July 26, 2002, age 24) was presented as Valencia Basket’s new player through the end of this season at a ceremony held today at the Isaval facilities in Ribarroja.
The young center comes from LOTTO AZS UMCS Lublin, where she played part of last season. In the national league, she averaged 11.3 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and an efficiency rating of 18.7 per game, while in the EuroCup she averaged 9.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and an efficiency rating of 13.3 per game. She has played for Poland’s senior national team since 2021, having participated in several EuroBasket qualifiers. In the most recent qualifiers, this past season, she averaged 12 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1 assist, and a 20.2 efficiency rating over six games.
In her first remarks, the new player said, “I’d like to thank Valencia Basket for the opportunity to be part of this great family. I’m very grateful for this opportunity and hope we can achieve great things together this season.”
